86 GL wagon fuel tank replacement

Featured Replies

Yep, it’s a fun job... got anything else you’d like to say??

Cheers

I got my '89 TBI tank out fairly quickly, but none of the fasteners were seized.   That's the beauty of western cars and parts.

well i replaced tank with a brand new one   made by spectra premium out of Canada  looks great fit perfectly  and works outstanding so far . oh yes i found a peace of  silicone rubber  wrapped around the old fuel tank pick up screen in bottom of tank that was causing  a fuel starvation problem and headaches    six months of  hell. finally she runs great again and revs out  no more stalling .bs.
