Well a Subaru Impreza hood fit onto a legacy GT?

Featured Replies

I have a 98 Subaru legacy GT and I was wondering if I could put a 98 Subaru Impreza Hood onto it? And does anyone know if the front ends are interchangeable?

no, the Impreza is a completely different platform to the Legacy - the body panels are not interchangeable

Can’t swap panels between platforms. I’m not even sure if impreza bonnet can be swapped with the equivalent year forester. Gut tells me no.

Front ends are not interchangeable. Some mechanical parts *might* swap over but this would depend on what part you’re wanting to swap.

Why do you wan to swap the impreza bonnet onto the legacy anyway?

Are you going for a more aggressive look? or just trying to replace some damaged parts inexpensively?

you would be correct - very different styling between the two, even tho they are built on the same platform.
