July 10, 20223 yr I have the manual to the 84 gl, but the vehicle I drive is an 85 BRAT. Can I use the 84 wiring diagrams to fix the 85 BRAT?
July 10, 20223 yr They’re basically the same and would be the best basis of what you have in your BRAT if you can’t get your year’s FSM. AFAIK their pretty much the same except for rear doors and rear wiper - depending on whether or not your BRAT has the same instrument cluster as that of the FSM. Even then 80% of the wiring will be the same or very similar. What’s the issue you’re chasing? Cheers Bennie

I have 1984 Subaru 1600 1800 Engine and Body Service Manual and 1984 Subaru Wiring Diagram and Troubleshooting It looks like the 85 BRAT has the same dash and engine wiring as the 84 4wd wagon.
July 10, 20223 yr You are not likely to find 85 BRAT specific wiring, so we all tend to use the nearest match as a guide with expectation there may be some differences and to check stuff yourself if in doubt
