ok guys a crankshaft pulley on a 1985 ea81, does it have 3 grooves or 2?thnx once again bb

All the EA81 crank pulley's I've seen were three groove (including the one on my '85 Brat). EA81's had up to 3 belts - Alternator/water pump, Power Steering, and A/C...... that being said, I know that PS wasn't offered until the 81 model year, so an EA81 from an 80 Automatic (only came in Auto's that year) might be different - I don't know that I've ever seen one of those personally.

Pre '81 have 2 groove pulley's. WRX1AB and I went the the Junkyard, and he went crazy when he saw it. We pulled it from a '80 DL Hatch with a EA71.

ok guys thats what im doing im pulling off a 2 groove pulley off a 1980 ea81,and replacing it with a 3 groove, will they interchange? any chages that wont work? thnx
