Went to a Demolition Derby over the weekend. As a special feature they had a Herby Derby.

 

This was vehicles with a 103" wheel base or less.

 

You guessed it. Someone entered a 82 Subaru Wagon.

 

He was clearly the crowd favorite but about half way through he took two solid hits to the front and was unable to move after the second hit.

 

The crowd was upset.

 

I was upset too the next day.......when I realized I didn't offer him $50 for the car:-\

 

Update:

Just located the driver by his sponsor and left him a message... (????Motor, tranny, axles, diff, fuel pump,????)

I don't go to demos anymore, it's too much of a bummer to see some of the cars that end up getting destroyed.

I now go to combine demos, they are lots of fun
