When will you guys be passing through Sacramento? I still havent heard a single word from Mike. At this time, im only aware of 2 subaru's comming from Southern Cali.

 

I may just bypass the caravan and head up Thursday night, go straight to Hood river and be there Friday morning. Not sure if I should wait in Sacramento for the caravan or what.

 

So who's gonna come from the Southern California through to the WCSS?

Brian, if you decide to change plan, I've been working on a "big meet-up" scheme with Mendo and the other NV guys.

Things took a drastic turn of event in my relationship w/my girlfriend.

 

After several months of hem and hawing. she's finally ready to get engaged.

 

So I am taking advantage of the fact that I am suppose to be out of town and going to surprise her.

 

Sorry about that. I was really looking forward to meeting everyone. Go to the new gen forum for my project that I was going to reveal. :wink:

I dunno if I'll be rolling through K-Falls on Thursday afternoon, or Friday afternoon. Depends on when I get 100% prepared for the trip and roll out of Sacramento. I still wanna meet up in Bend if there's something setup for that. But if everyone is trying to get the show asap, then I have no problem with taking 5 the entire way.

 

I finally got ahold of Mike from Southern Cali, and we'll be colaborating. Adam, if you get a chance hop on Yahoo and IM me.

Lets see here... Highway 395 to 31 to 97 to 26 to 35. That was my plan. What do you have in mind?

I'm considering 395 to Susanville, then 139 north to KFalls. It appears to be higher elevation, and more forested..a cooler ride.

 

Actually IIRC, that neat-o map that Brian posted earlier shows K-Falls along the way..that's what I was kind of going by.

Dave, are you going to meet up with us early Friday morning? The plan is 5am Friday morning to meet here at my place. Higher elevation = death to a ea71 but I'll consider that route too.

So how many of you are planning on making the run up to Hood River on Friday, to get there for the cruise and stuff. We here on the Oregon side of the boarder have less of a drive so it won't be a problem for us, if ya'll are up for it. I personally would like to get to HR by 6ish that night, a huge cruise of Soobs would an awsome event I don't think I want to turn down.

Yeah you can do that Dave. I have your number and Brians. I'm sure we will be on the road by 6am... I'm not sure how long it will take to get to Bend?

That's OK, just call me..I'll be leaving Incline about 8:30, should have a great view of the new fire near Virginia City.

 

I'll overnight in Bend..call me along the way. I'll scout a good easy place to meet in town somewhere..we may have to hang out a bit until all have arrived, and then continue.
