Dumb question, but where does the ground side of the negitive battery cable mount on an EA81T? Pics would help!

Well, 2 things....

The ground goes to the front top of the drivers side head - theres a bolt that threads into it. The only way to take a pic of it is to remove the Alt. Dont feel like doing that right now.

And #2, If you had come by and seen me yesterday at the show I could have shown it to you :-\

Hey, I didn't need to know where it went yesterday, because I wasn't that far along installing my engine! Do you still have that turbo throttle cable?

run multiple grounds in addition to the correct place it does help

Well, I removed the alternator and I didn't see anything that the cable can ground to. Here's what I see:
