September 2, 200421 yr I just bought a holley 180 sitting on a manifold for $200. There just one clearence problem I have with the "thottle linkage". When the carb is at w.o.t. the secondry is only partly open, this is because "thottle linkage" is hitting the manifold, some more clearance has be gained using a grinder on the manifold done by previous owner. Is this a problem u guys with webbers had? Is there a bolt in soltution or would i have to fab something up? I could take some snaps in the light of day if that could help.
September 2, 200421 yr Not a problem with the Webers. Get or make a spacer block for it if you can. GD
September 2, 200421 yr Author I have a spacer made out of black plastic from an old manifold that would let it open fully but then would i get problem wif the air clearner hitting the underside of the bonnet. do webbers only have fuel supply because my holley is like that at what pressure shold they recieve the fuel?
September 2, 200421 yr Sounds like you need a spacer. I had a holley on an isuzu p'up and I ran a fuel pressure regulator at 2.5 psi. It ran great! But it wouldn't hurt to fine tune that to your car's liking.
