September 13, 200421 yr I took the instrument panel out in my 84 GL today to pull the ECS light bulb, and in so doing, pulled out the speedometer cable. Now the cable isn't long enough for me to hook it back in, and then put the panel back in. It is only long enough to reach if the panel is all the way in, and I can't get back there unless the panel is out! Any suggestions??
September 13, 200421 yr you can reconnect the cable after you put back the instrument panel and pull down the fuse panel, and stick your hand up there, also helps if you pull the large plastics from under the steering wheel area

September 14, 200421 yr I hooked it up, took longer to get the light so I could see fuse box still hanging down
