I bought a 4sod (supposedly D/R) tranny from a mechanic. He said it was D/R. Well I brought it home and I can't get it to shift. The shifting rod will not move at all. And how can I tell if it is D/R? Pics please.

If there is a rod going from the back by the tail to the front, on what would be the passenger side. then it's dual range. if you can sind a pic, plenty of us here and give you a yes or no.
