September 20, 200421 yr heard somewhere it cuts the axle lifetime by about half of what is already a short life when this is done. this true?
September 20, 200421 yr I wouldn't doubt it. The springs will set the normal angle on the CV joints much steeper and send the wear rate through the roof. If the diff. is lowered, the angle will be correct again, but by then you might as well get a body lift.
September 20, 200421 yr yeah, ill be staying stock susp. till i feel like investing major money into an ozified.
September 20, 200421 yr lowering the dif is simple, just make some brackets to drop it down watch the driveshaft u-joint angles, no more than about 7* max, iirc
