Can I put a DR 5spd all wheel drive tranny, ect..from an 89 RX, in my 88 turbo wagon?? Im assuming if it works I would have to transfer axles, diffs, ect... Curious if the driveline is a different length or of any issues that might not make this a feasible swap??

You don't say what you have in your turbowagon currently. If your car is already a factory turbo 5 speed, then the major componants you already have.. axles, diff, etc will work fine

Isn't that exaclty what subaru styles did? He basically turned his wagon into an RX Wagon.

Actually, IIRC, brad has the single range FT4WD trans in the RX wagon.. As do I.

yeah i opted to use an xt6 fulltime tranny as it is the only FT w/diff lock that is a 3.90
