October 27, 200421 yr I just bought a weber, and someone brought up this up to me that the stock fuel pump might not be able to get enough fuel through the weber? Does this happen or am I all right? Thanks.
October 27, 200421 yr nah my holley 180 a knockoff of a webber is supplied fine by the stock fuel pump.
October 27, 200421 yr You'll be fine. You might wanna get it replaced if your worried... since your current pump is as old as that car. And I saw that car, it might be time for a new pump. Do some research on the Weber DGEV and see what kinda pump weber would recommend. I think there are some members here who have upgraded their EA81 pumps to accomidate their carbs. -Brian
October 27, 200421 yr Author All right will do. It wouldn't hurt, that car was sitting for a while before we towed it over, so it could have some yucky stuff in it. I'll check around.
October 27, 200421 yr Weber works fine on 2 to 3 PSI. My 20 year old Brat pump delivers that and the weber loves it.
