pug replacement wheels????

I was wounding if you can buy pug replacement wheels at discount tire or where every, and what it is the biggest tire I can fit on a stock loyale. and what would be a good tire to use I drive on the freeway 60 mile round trip a day. Thanks

I have not been able to find aftermaket wheels for pug cars any where. yes I looked around a bit.

I am looking at running 205-55-15 its slightly taller than a stock tire.

205-50-15 would be a good fit too. almost the same height but would handle well due to wider footprint and lo pro sidewall.

I will report back after I have a better idea of what they are like.

I believe Edrach has a set of alloy 14's for sale right now. I can fit 205/75/14's under my Brat with very little fender modifications.

 

Much better gas mileage, too.

Thanks for the plug northguy; and I live live in Snohomish county too....no shipping involved!:) I doubt you can get replacement wheels for $30 each; certainly not alloy wheels. I looked at the wheels my son has on his '84 GL; he uses 185/70-14 without any trouble and I think the older cars have a little less space available. The pug wheel itself has a 5-1/2 J-14 designation. Drop me a PM if you're interested.
