November 4, 200421 yr hey guys been awhile, anyways anybody know where i can get the gasket between the manifold and the down pipe,on a 88' gl-10 turbowagon, all autoparts stores say n/a=not/available,any help would be great
November 4, 200421 yr Not sure exactly what gasket you mean.. The down pipe attaches to the turbo..and there is no seperate uppipe..Whatever it is you need, call your local dealership. WRX uppipe/downpipe set is only $30.. I would imagine Exhaust gaskets are cheaper for a GL-10
November 4, 200421 yr Author the pipe that comes out of the engine, before the turbo, gasket between engine and pipe, basically the 1sr gasket in the exhaust system
November 4, 200421 yr Get those from Subaru. The aftermarket ones are CRAP and prone to leakage, whereas the factory ones hold up well for a long time.
November 4, 200421 yr I know for a fact that NAPA has the SET (header to turbo then turbo to DP) of the gaskets for the turbo. They are the same as OE. Its like $25-$30 or so.... OE is the better way tho...because you know what you are getting. Any dealer within an area with a higher population of the older cars should have them in stock.
