November 9, 200421 yr my local parts stores are a bit lax on this one.... I have locally: Advance Auto Parts (Parts America) Auto Zone O'Reilly's Napa Napa actually shows the correct one online, but it's $144. the others either don't show one, or show the one for the ea81 body style which won't work for the ea82s.... O'REilly doesn't have any pics, but numbers aren't recognizable.....
November 9, 200421 yr Ummm....dealer? If you get a core narrowed down at NAPA, I can get it for you ALOT cheaper if you want to go with one from NAPA...I just need the part number.
November 9, 200421 yr Author I need the core for a 87 GL Wagon (originally carbed ea82) 4wd 5 speed D/R. I've been looking other than the dealer based on past experince with ea81 heater core costs..... I haven't ripped into the dash yet to see which one I actually have, as I've been getting the motor ready. (it's in now, but not fully connected yet) the NAPA part number is NHC6601764 this is from all the crap on-line stuff I've looked through.

November 9, 200421 yr the NAPA i deal with/used to work at...I can get the "660-1764" for $93.00....but Id have to special order it...as none of the local warehouses have it... :-\
