Snow come to Western Washington

Featured Replies

Well, it was snowing when I got out of bed at 7:45 AM today, but now it has stopped (8:00 AM). Looking at the weather channel it seem pretty local, not all over the place. The weather forecast calls for temperature to raise, so i don't expect it to stick around long. Right now it bearly covers anything.

I'll gladly send you some of ours. We got a foot overnight on Thursday.

Yea, I saw the footage about the Anchorage snowfall the other night on TV. You guys looked like Seattle; almost like you'd never seen snow before.:)

It was a shock as we had about 5 inches a month and a half ago and virtually nothing since. The affects of global warming have had the temps in the mid 50's at times in MID NOVEMBER!

You guys in the PS convergent zone are having all of the fun. Just wet here, and not really very cold. On the other hand, we didn't have to put up with the endless news stories (yet!) about tire stores getting swamped with studded tire sales. When it comes to snow, we seem to be as wimpy as the OTHER Washington!

I say, "Bring it on!!!"

I make it a habit to demand snow every winter. Sometimes it works. I'm thinking this year, instead of yelling demands at the sky, I will resort to talking smack to it. "Is THAT all you got?"

I'm with Northwet. BRING IT ON!!

i 2 want snow.. but only after i get my wagon running

i dread my trip to work and back in ice and snow in the front wheel drive turbo minivan with crappy tires and bad struts

I love the snow, but I hate driving in the stuff that you guys get in Western Washington, I like the dryer stuff we get in Eastern Washington...
