The XT struts are the shortest ones. Put an uprated spring on it, say the 250 lb 10 in tall ones im running...and whamo.

4WD struts are the tallest. 2WD sedan/wag/coupe being shorter...XT being shotest.

who needs coils anyways? I got no Honda either but man, the Brat sure looked pimpin!:D

or you go to the junkyard and get some 2wd xt struts for $20:banana: and score coilovers off ebay for $8..*double:banana: *

and yes im slamming the coupe. pics next week

I like the idea of 2wd XT6 springs......mmmm 5-lug is coming soon!!!

Hey Brad, what kind of coilovers did you get for 8 bucks?? I wanna know cause then hopefully I can get a set for the RX;)

heheh, heres what id do... install motor wich is too large for car. un crank rear torsion bars... blammo!

Metal cut-off saw is faster, louder, and more fun!

no spring cutting...with a torch that is. Using a 'saw' action is ok...but still not recommended.

actualy, a hacksaw would probable take 30 minutes, and three blades. half a rung at a time is what i have heard to start with.

yeah, half a coil...and I ahve a portaband...takes about 5 mins to zip thru the thick spring steel. 2 mins on street springs.

meh coils, who needs them? Why would you cut them when you can just pull them out?:D I tend to use a cut off wheel, thats how I lowered the front of my '79 wagon and then cranked the torsions down in the rear. I said screw it with the Brat and pulled the coils out completly and cranked the torsions all the way down in the rear, pull some bumpstops and VOILA! lowered Br!z@t!!!

thats crazy and unsafe.

i'll vouch for that, no springs sucks, you cant launch off the line without catching air... thats with a good bit of horsepower tho. a brat with 75 hp might be ok...

yes but I was driving a Brat with ~110hp. Mmmmmm lovely JDM high compression EA71s with some work done to them. Made it real fun to drift in RWD;)

Something like this should do the trick

Who makes those? Brand? Model number? Will they fit on Brats? Where can I get a set? :D

Purdeey.

I'll have some Koni Double adjustable custom coilovers made at some point...and some pretty stiff springs too... :D
