that's a bummer Melis that that did happen your lucky to have friends that have helped out with everything including a replacement motor

 

and luckily you did get that 3dr when you did so now you have a backup

I've met a bunch of great people between here, XT6.net and a few other boards (and I've met a bunch of losers...you know who you are). You know who your friends are when it comes down to the wire...I thank god everyday I wake up and every night before I go to bed that I have great people in my life.

 

Some time this week I get to go and insure the 3DR and then maybe by next Monday she'll have a name ) (and I might be getting new doors which should make her very happy)

 

Shelby is just out of commission for a short time. Already got an engine stand and some gaskets and seals so before I go slamming the engine into Shelbs it's ganna be done right (and I get to clean out her bay <twinkly clean>

Oh No Melis!!!

 

Just saw this tis morning (wasnt on my puter at all yesterday...had a whole afternoon of juicey motocross fun on TV and that kinda takes priority with me). I know you will have Shelby back and better than before! And you were lucky to get get Bucky's girlfriend...If something like that ever happened to me I would be devistated since I dont have a back-up car.

Melis, Now is the time to just drive that other car and do this XT right, even if it takes a little while to put it together. I would suggest buying a WRX front clip for the engine and tranny. Pull the ECU as well and do a whole swap. It would give you near new car reliability for about 2gs (compare that to a new car.....) and with a few upgrades on down the road and you'll be sporting 280Hp for not much $$.

well.. look at the bright side.

at least you did not go britney spears on us and say .. oops i did it again!
