Brushguard on an Outback

Featured Replies

Anyone know if any company makes one specifically for an Outback, or are they mostly sized and you just rig one up? I would love to get one on my outback and mount some lights on it.

I have one on my Forester? Subaru sells what the call a "brush guard". It's nothing more than a thick piece of plastic to mount fog lights on. I think they have to have it that way so it won't affect the air bags?

Scorpion in AZ sells metal bars for Outbacks.

...Check with Dr. Outback for some blowout factory Subaru deals....

Before you bolt it on you might want to consider what it's going to do to your front overhang. The OBW already has pretty bad front and rear overhang which seriously limits its off-roadability. Ground clearance doesn't mean anything if you can't get over that bump or ditch because your front end keeps bottoming out.

Get a hold of Mudrat.Sturdy stuff, attractive too.
