So...since I will have a full shop setup at my disposal...with a lift...should I drop the tranny, or pull the engine?

If you have a lift and transmission jack, drop the transmission. Should take less then an hour.

For normal people in their garages, I always recommend pulling the motor.. But if you have a lift and a tranny jack, just pull the trans. Faster and easier.

Depends on if the engine or tranny need servicing but I agree the easier pull is the trans if you have the lift.

that and i need to replace some bushings in the shift linkages anyhow....tranny it is then.
