Are there any decent junkyards that any one might know of around Asheboro, N.C.?

I moved out here from CO where you see older subies on an every day basis and it was easy to find used parts. Out here, you hardly see newer ones and I almost never see older ones.

 

Did see an older ea 81 4wd wagon that was Very clean, almost went of the road trying to get a good look at it!

Jimmie Higgins/Higgins Automotive in Salisbury NC. They are south of Salisbury about 3 miles in hwy 29....not too far off of I-85. He's got everything you could possibly need for the Gen3/EA82 stuff.....not much Gen 1/2 stuff left tho.

Something a little closer to you would be 67 Motors on Rt.67 just heading out of Winston/Salem.

 

Keep me in mind if you see any 70's Subarus there.

When we were in W/S a few years ago there were still some older ones around.More near Boone and a good amount near the college towns-Raleigh Durham.
