EA82T install help for BPV, MBC, Boost gauge

Featured Replies

Is there a write up on how to do this stuff? I found lots of info but nothing specific about where and how to plumb for the best performance. This will be on my '87 RX, I have a Saab 900 BPV, a turbo XS MBC and an Autometer boost gauge. Looking for the best place to plumb this stuff, if I need any additional parts and any helpful tips.

Thanks

Caleb?

Sorry bud, Didn't see this until now:o

Yes, when I had it set up for recirculation, It simply 'blew off back into the intake silencer. anywhere between the MAF and the turbo inlet is fine. It just so happens that that intake silencer thingy was ideal for the parts I had.

Since I have switched IC's and Valves, I get to start that part of the plumbing all over again. Yay

Caleb, here's the most easiest thing I came up with on the TD04 conversion and I'm doing it to mine currently. Get a WRX turbo inlet hose and it'll hose clamp right onto the stock TD04. Then get a recirc hose for a WRX and it'll plumb right into it. I got it since I'm using the AEM cold air intake from a WRX and so I wanted to get the piece that goes between the turbo and the intake. I got a turbo inlet hose for an '04 STi for 25 bucks shipped and it goes right onto the end of the turbo and it also has the spot where the stock recirc hose plumbs into it. If anything, hit me up on AIM...
