March 14, 200521 yr sorry, just wanted an opinion. Naw cd, you're in the right place, I think Doc thought youwere trying to off-load it. Post some details, condition, etc., I'm sure folks will help you out ... even Doc.

OK, all Legacies are MPFI, and this car has a solid engine (well the Ej22 that is in this car is generally bulletproof, but you do have to consider the age of the car). How about a definition of "nice shape"? Rust? Engine run good? Dents? What is the climate like where you live? lots of snow (in which case, you would probably want AWD)? If the car is solid (IIRC, OK is in the rust belt) then 1500 is a good price. You can build it up later. . .

At least he moved it to the correct Gen, he had it in 'Old Gen' to begin with. Sorry I mis-read your post, but adding a few word might have helped, like "Found a car, I'd like your opinion on, it's a 1992 Legacy, 2WD, auto, MPFI, nice shape, $1500. What do you think?" I don't think I would have mis-read that one. The early Legacys are good cars. The last time I was in Oklahoma it was pretty flat and didn't snow that often so I think a 2WD would be good enough. If maintained properly, the EJ22 will last a long time 200K plus.
