keck Posted March 26, 2005 Share Posted March 26, 2005 Does anyone know off hand which wire is the switched 12v in my 87 GL10? I found the constant 12V, can't find switched. keck Posted March 26, 2005 Author Share Posted March 26, 2005 that green wire wasn't hot at all, tried it with acc on and off, the only hot wire i found was blue/yellow. I tried splicing both yellow and red from the stereo to that b/y wire, but the memory gets erased when I turn the key off, which is very strange when that b/y wire is always hot. Cant remember what colours where what though If all else fails, take a wire from the ciggy lighter, it should be switched with acc. what are you using for ground?
