How about a roller, like a barn door? I know you can still get the slides for those. That way it wont take up room like a swing out.
LOL, yea and they won't seal as well either.

You were a busy guy this weekend. Good job (how could you do it any other way!).

Hey, wheres the window(s)? Sure looks dark in there

Is that vinyl siding or wood? Looks good Corky.

Windows??? I don't need no stinking windows!!!!!! That's what they made overhead lighting for, and the electrical part has only begun.

Ed, thanks for your help on Saturday. It's kind of an illussion, only the front and the side you see are finished, I'm going to try and get the other sides done today. I'm running a little behind, I was hoping to get the doors at least started. Had to do the cemetry visits yesterday, so I lost about half a day of work, but it was worth it.

OK, now all the siding is finished. Start of the garage doors this week, as well as the wiring. Got to go get the permit, but don't need it to start, just when I get it inspected.

Sorry Zap, it's not that I don't think you great work, but I just had to check. I has been raining all day at my place, so when I got home, the first thing I did was to go into the garage, it's dry as a bone.

Well, someone is looking out for me, today I poured ther two ramps for my garage. Just as I finished covering the ramps with a tarps to protect them from the rain, and it started raining.

I rented a cement mixer and bought a bunch of 80 pound bags of ready mix. In all I used 70 bags of cement, so that means I lifted 5600 (over 2 1/2 Tons) into the mixer. I can only imagine how much they weighed after the water was added. So if I told you I was a little tired, would you believe me?

Now I wait two days before I can use the ramps.

:brow: That's right.

Careful you dont give yourself another hernia :banghead:

If I had done all that, I would be flat on my back for a week.

Stupid back

Don't think I get another hernia, I stopped lift engines out of Subarus without a hoist. LOL

Come on baby light my fire!!!!!

I've got the doors, well at least the front ones, but they need to be painted. Oh yea, I poured the ramps last weekend (posted that earlier) so the front on is in the picture too.

Still a ways off, need to get the back doors done, finish the wiring and paint the floor, then move only the things that I want in the new garage into it. At the rate I've been going lately, it will probably be after WCSS7.

Back doors are done now. Boy is it dark in there with all the doors shut.

Well, get cracking so you can turn on the lights!

Well, I finally got power to the garage yesterday, well at least partial power. If any of you know about wiring a house, you'll know that the line coming into the house has 4 wires, a ground, a neutral and two hot (one black and one red). Well somewhere between the main breaker in the old garage and the panel in the new garage the black hot line is broken. Since it is spliced in two places (to go to waterproof cable for underground conduit) it should be fairly easy to determine where it is. But for right now, I only have 110 in the garage. When I get back on DSL I'll download a new picture of the garage, it is now complete from the outside.

I now have full power in the garage. I need to clear out part of the old garage so that I can get at the air compressor and move it into the new one. There is quite a mess between the front of the old garage and the back of the garage where the compressor is. I think I'll paint the floor before I put up the sheetrock, that way I can have the garage warming party earlier.

Well, I'm a little pissed, the electrical inspector showed up at the house yesterday unannouced, so no one came to the door (wife is a little hard of hearing and with the sewing machine going, probably didn't hear him). Today I'm calling him and asking why he didn't set up an appointed time like ever other inspector that I have dealt with.

As for the first project, there are so many I don't know where to start. Last night I changed the wheels on my wifes car and noticed that the wrecked Legacy has rear disc brakes and the driveable one doesn't. I also noticed that the front discs are SMALL. Looks like I'm going to have to put my spare set of JDM WRX brakes on the Legacy. Both the Legacy and the WRX need to be painted and some minor body repairs made. The WRX will be gettting a DCCD and a rear window wiper by the next show, with those items the transformation into a STi Type R will be complete.
