hello everyone. i just bought a 05 outback xt. it is fast! anyway my question is:

does anyone know of an aftermarket flip key for subarus?

What's a 'flip key'?

Think of a switch blade knife, but a key instead.

Don't Jetta's have them? they're spring loaded, and the key part flips out the side. Or maybe it's Saab's? something like that

Yeah, most new VWs have them. Actually they are getting fairly popular with OEMs of late.

i saw one on ebay... it was stupid though. it's more like the mercedes one than the VW/audi one, but it's got buttons for keyless entry, however, they're just there for looks. someone should make one with a working keyless entry/alarm system. that'd be pretty cool, though i do think it's just a gimmicky thing. the only thing i'd like about it is it'd be my new key fob so i wouldn't have a key and a fob...
