Need cheaper price options for 92' Loyale 4wd rear struts.

Featured Replies

My 92' Loyale 4wd needs new rear struts badly!! I went to my local Napa parts store & they priced them at $73 per side!!! OUCH!!!! I didn't try any other stores because I know their gonna quote me a similar price. I want to spend way less than that but I really don't want to get used salvage yard ones unless they are practically new. Besides, there are hardly any subies in the yards in this part of the country anyway.

Is there a way to just replace the shock inside the spring instead of buying the entire assembly? I would think that'd be a cheaper way to go if it's even possible..

Thanks....

might find a local junk yard with good ones on the back, or try ebay ,the ones at a junkyard will have the springs and all ready to go

Erik's price is pretty good. Check out www.1stsubaruparts.com ; oem is $39.56 each; website is difficult to navigate but you'll find the rear strut for your car at that price eventually.

They were around $40 or so at advanced auto parts when I was looking for rears for mine. You just replace the strut, not the whole assembaly.
