91 turbo legacy 5spd

Featured Replies

Are these rare? I was under the impression that most turbo legacys were automatics, but I've seen pictures of manual ones. Saw one for sale in the local Want ad and gulped at the price-$10,000 obo! Yes, the comma is in the right place. Seller claims that it is designated and "Experimental" car by subaru, 1 of 15 made. I think that all that is B.S., but I wondered if it might be true. I'm looking for a EJ22T donor car for my wagon, and I don't think the price is right for this one.

That price is ridiculous. I don't think one in good condition would sell for more than $5000.

I wonder if the seller has posted there before...:

Here is the letter from FHI...................

Mr.Bailey,

Here is the information for you.

Your vehicle was produced only about 15 units.

It was kind of a test vehicle, just experiment purpose for Turbo in the U.S.

We couldn't find out how many blacks were produced...It was too old.

Such a interesting coincidence that Subaru has just introduced Turbo Legacy

in this summer!

Anyway, your vehicle is VERY rare one, it's true!

Did I answer to your question?

Best regards,

Yuzo Mori

FHI

You could of bought my car for $4000.00 those interested, now the price is $19000.00 or we can talk just a little!

Sorry................ the McLaren is not for sale!

That price is ridiculous. I don't think one in good condition would sell for more than $5000.

Subaru doesn't have their stuff straight. I've seen far more then 15 91's myself.....let alone everyone else.

Sent you a PM about the 92 donor car, when is a good time to look at it?

I think I should move this to the MARKETPLACE, I didn't mean to take over this thread.
