rear springpins

Featured Replies

I'm having some serious trouble getting the springpins out of the rear axles on my wagon, it's very possible that they are origional, and very rusted on. Any ideas? I'm thinking I may have to drill them out, but I have no experience with something this precise, I need the axle and diff stubs to be usable.

Thanks

I tore apart a turbo wagon from alaska a while back.. rusty stuff there.

Took some persuasion with a 2 pound dead blow hammer, but they eventually came out.

jack the car up so the spring pin is facing vertical and put tape round the bottom of the hole and fill it up wif crc of wd40 and go back to it the next day and it should be mint crc does wounders make sure u fill it up tho not just gas and bubbles... patt
