ive noticed on some coilovers (JIC, Cusco) the top part is held on by simply bolts. I was wondering, say u haave an older generation car (RX perhapes ), could u ever mod the rear parts to fit the strut mounts? it seems that if it didnt u could fabricate somthing much easier then for other coilovers. this is assuming a xt6 conversion was done. also it would need to have different bottom ends for the rear but i was simply wondering about the top and if such a thing could be done.

doesnt sound too hard to make an adapter

If you did the 5lug conversion, those struts would almost boltin.
