Featured Replies

Back after a long hiatus

have a 1991 Legacy Ls Wagon, any recomendations ona bike rack to fit?

Thanks!

Thule roof rack system. Avoid the dinged up rims of catching gravel from being kicked up by the tires.

Thule is getting the vote hands down it seems! How expensive though? someone gave me a takima without the side bars since it fit his Exporer(too big). wondering if its too expensive to start over?. P.S I do have the factory roof rack.

Thanks again!

You should be able to find a used one somewhere ... keep yer eyes peeled in the cycling, kayak, skiing forums, mags, classifieds. You'll find one.

I got mine on Ebay.. I already had the "feet" and the load bars.. I got 2 thule bike racks for it for $65

So someone gave you a bike rack? what model yakima is it? you should be able to get adapters at any sporting goods store(that carries rack stuff) that will mount yakima or thule rack stuff to factory racks.. by the way the factory rack adapters for my explorer were the same as the ones for my subaru (which was an 87 GL)
