bgambino
I would like to replace the O2 sensor in my 91 loyale 4wd non turbo wagon Whats the procedure to get it out without ripping the threads up? should I buy the special socket or will a box wrench work well enough? should I put anti seize on the new one? thanks

MorganM
22mm wrench or special socket; whatever you want. I prefer the socket since I can use my 18" breaker bar to make short work of the deal. Drop the Y pipe from the heads so you have plenty of room to swing tools. It's fairly straightforward. Remove, unplug, screw in new one, plug it in, fire it up!
