August 9, 200520 yr Ok, i converted my 84 gl-10 to a 5-speed and now the dang cruise doesn't work, Might anyone know what has to be done to make it work with the manual tranny? I messed around with a few wires but no luck, It's starting to really bother me. ~Dayten~
August 9, 200520 yr Have you checked the disengage switches on the clutch and brake pedals for an adjustment problem?
August 9, 200520 yr you have to make the computer think that the car is in N or P to get it to start, but it has to be in D for the cruse to work, i rigged up a switch so it is in P to start and then i can switch it to D when i want to engage cruse, and it makes a good theft switch, if its in D a car jacker cant even hotwire it at the ign switch. thats what i did, im sure there are other ways to to it. thats my $.02

What wires need to be tapped into?
