Of those who have used POR 15....can you paint over it? If not, than what color is it? Want to coat the underbody, but also about 4 inches above the trim...visable.

No, you can't paint over it. You can buy a special paint to paint over it and then apply the colored paint of your choice.

Yes... You can paint over it, but it requires some extra steps.

After etching, cleaning, and por15ing (the best process to use) you can use this product: http://www.por15.com/product.asp?productid=239 This is a intermediary primer. So you would put this over the por15, and then paint your desired paint over it.

 

However, the POR-15 company has some colors of their own, and i would certainly trust just about anything from them. It seems ideally using all their product would be the best way to go.
