hi guys,greetings from an old scooby owner in ingerland (uk),

have just got my dream mota,a '78 scooby 1600 gl coupe,is amazing,but unfortunately someone has fitted a '81 1600 engine with a five speed box and a crap homemade gearbox mounting.... : ( this means the whole lot is sat too far forward as the driveshaft top joint rubs on the steering column when turning,any suggestions?
