August 28, 200520 yr I just took the oil pan off my EA82T and i was curious if anyone has come up with an ingenious idea for cleaning out the three level oil pan..... does anyone have a trick they'd like to share?!
August 28, 200520 yr i'd start with a pressure washer if i had one. using cleaners takes forever, that's how i did two of mine.
August 29, 200520 yr Ya it is a pain in the A$$. I think lots of solvent and bottle brushes did the trick for me. Pressure washer would be great but all the stuff that comes out is nasty! Good luck!
September 16, 200520 yr Author i ended up using a whole bunch of clean rags, then using GUNK engine brite, and spraying it down with water.... a wire wheel to the outside, and a fresh coat of Dark blue temp resistant paint, and man that thing... i ate dinner out of it the other night thanks for the help!!!!
September 16, 200520 yr Soaked mine in degreasing solvent overnight then hosed it with brake cleaner.
