markjs
The front of the seat by the door on the drivers side has busted. How can this be rigged without buying a new seat that will eventually do this too.
A DOG
same thing happened to me. Had to go find an old seat like mine and take the rail off the bottom and replace the broken one.

Yes, see you're telling me to fix it right. I just told you if I do it will only break again. What I need is an easier more permanent fix. MorganM
Yep! Front left bolt capture nut rusted away. I was driving along then BAM I'm all ghetto fabulouse, leaning way back trying to hold onto the steering wheel! markjs
Well being as I have no access to welding equiptment, I guess I have to say that that too is not a solution that works for me right now.

Hondasucks
Happened to me in my 87 hatchback, after large zip ties and bailing wire both failed, I welded it at school when I made the brackets to put the EA82 seats in my 87 hatch. subarunuts
The EA81 seat rails are weak - they break where the rail is spot welded to the adjuster. I welded it with a couple bolts (heads cut off) on either side of the rail for strength. No trouble with them now.
