Well, found out what my timing problem was....

You know spin the dr side belt around... and then throw the passenger side on, Well I thought well if one was down and the other up it would work ok... then I couldn't figure my timing problem out... well I followed the instructions.. it works great now other than I maybe forgot to tighten a bolt and the t-belt came loose..

WARNING NOOB WITH A WRENCH!

Just forget to tighten/threadlock the bolt holding the main crankshaft pully on... It'll come loose and you'll lose cooling and alternator in about 10 miles after starting your newly rebuilt engine. And when it comes loose it'll ream the center of the pulley out so you have to get a new one. I've tried it......

the previous owner of my legacy did that... I couldn't get another pully in time though so just lock-tite'd it and CRANKED THAT SUCKER DOWN... didn't have a torque wrench but based on my calculations with socket wrench and pipe and my weight we had about 150-160 ft-lbs of torque on that sucker... hasn't come loose yet but the car only made it 1000 miles before encountering another debilitating problem that I haven't had much time to research
