October 7, 200520 yr hello everybocy, this is my first post. I'm trying to replace my front pass side axle and it won,t come out. I have everything off inc. tie rod end, it seems the axle is too long to remove, any suggestions? thanks
October 7, 200520 yr Did you remove the pin? on the diff. side. also the whole hub and caliper needs to swing out of the way.

I have everything off inc. tie rod end, it seems the axle is too long to remove, any suggestions? thanks i've removed the axle nut, and the diff side pin and tie rod end and the axle is loose at the hub and diff. but there doesn't seem to be enough room to slide the axle out

October 7, 200520 yr Remove the ball joint pinch bolt and pry the ball joint out, you should then be able to swing it out of the way. Get the fork looking tool to seperate the ball joint. If I remember right the bolt must come out not just loosened.

October 8, 200520 yr Author thank you for the help, I drop out the ball joint and sway bar, all went together well. putting the ball joint back in was tricky but i was able tto do it with the help af a floor jack. thanks again.
