ScoobieNoobie
I've seen a lot of references to Marval Mystery Oil on the board and wanted to ask how often you add it? How much? Do you use it preventatively or only when she starts a-clickin'?
Meeky Moose
add it every oil change, mostly just 1/4 of a quart.. has been added as long as the previous owner owned the sube and as long as i have owned it... 288k original, no leaks, ticks, knocks, pinging, nothing, sounds like she's brand new... uses about 1/2 quart - 1 quart between changes tho dependin how heavy my foot is and what honda i am smokin i'm deffinitely a believer in MMO. mtsmiths
Also into my airplanes (regardless of what the FAA says), including into the gas whenever I use mogas instead of avgas. My old dragster buddies always coated all internal parts with it as they assembled engines too. Great stuff, what ever it is ... it's a mystery.
