Heh, thanks Josh! now perhaps I can see how the Legacy differs from the Outback in 01. . . It can't still be that the Outback is a Legacy lifted 3" and given a two tone paint job, can it?

Also check out Ebay. They have factory manuals for sale there at good fair prices compared to dealer prices. You may have to wait until a sale comes up for your model but it will show up in time.

When the outback was first introduced I don't think there was much difference between the legacy. As time has gone on there may be more different, but I still can't see it being too much different.
