HI! I'm new to the USMB, but I've owned about 8 or 9 Subarus over the years, and converted many of my friends to the way of the Sub. I'm still driving my first, an 86 GL wagon with EA82, 5spd d/r, and a Weber 32/36 carb. I've got a little over 250,000 on it, and I've considered swapping in a 2.2 for a long time. I was pleasantly surprized to find a message board where other people had done the swap. So here are my questions:

 

I figure I'll need the engine w/intake, wiring harness, ecu, exh back to the y, and I plan on using my trans.

 

1. What else would I need?

2. Will my other accessories work (Alt, A/C, no P/S)?

3. How much would I expect it to cost?

Welcome to the board. Try using the search function: there is already a ton of data written on this.

You'll need an adapter plate to run an EJ22 with your 5spd d/r.
