Hey im getting ready to bolt a hitachi on my EA81 and wondered if anyone had detailed pics of where all the vacuum lines go? I currently have a Carter-Weber so thats not much help. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I wish i could help ya on that... My engine is in a boat. All vacuum ports are plugged except for the carb port to the vacuum advance..

Did you try the owners manual? Also, under the hood there is a partial diagram.

The diagram does me a bit of good but its for the Carter-weber..not the hitachi. I may try the book but i dont know how in depth haynes gets.

to use the hitachi you will need the hitachi inbtake as well as the carb mountings are different than carter-weber

Already way ahead of you. Just bought an intake from Monsteru for the hitachi.

Oh ok thanks everyone. Wesley Willis i would be interested in seeing the underhood diagram as well. While your at it, could you take some picks of the actual carb setup or have you swapped to a weber? Thanks to all who have replied.
