Dazed Dreamer Posted December 7, 2005 Share Posted December 7, 2005 I just put the new engine in got everything connected fluids in then took it for a drive drove for exactly 20 miles when it started to over heat then the tacometers needle dropped and then the car died anyone think they know what the problem could be? oh yah now it wont start at all just keeps tryin like there is no gas PLEASE help its my only car for work and its gettin cold out Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
NoahDL88 Posted December 7, 2005 Share Posted December 7, 2005 as far as the over heating, it sounds like you didn't remove all the air from the system, or the original overheat was caused by a plugged radiator. do the basic tests, make sure that you have spark and fuel, check for codes.
