check these out they are both tubro heads but check out the exhaust ports any one seen this before????

I thought turbo heads had two imputs and two outputs. Am I wrong?

 

This one here looks like a head I pulled off a stock 82' wagon. And this one here looks plan weird...

no they just injector each cyl 1 intake and 1 exhaust per head

RightyO, So the SUB4 heads are something quite different to what subaru ever done.

So If I were to turbo my deul carb heads it would be just as good as the turbo ones, execpt no injectors, two carbs should be ok tho. Oh hang on, I not going to turbo my engine... After what happened to my brother this morning :-/

Ben, polish the chamber between the valve seats, post a picture. I'm not sure what we were supposed to see, but they looked like dirty ports to me. I'll pull your motor down in the next day or two, season closes on the 15th.

what is different is, is the exhaust outlets see the casting where the exhaust bolts and see the small pipe in one and not the other and one has a divider in it and the other doesn't.
