Does anyone have a pics of a EA81 Y PIPE AND A EA82 Y PIPE???

 

Or can someone tell me is there any visual difference so I can tell what is what??? Thanks... I know its silly but I have no clue/

They will interchange. The main difference is in the trans mount hanger on the exhaust pipe. I'll have to look at them when I get home to make sure which is which. But if you look at the hanger at the end of the trans you should be able to tell which is which.

also, the heat riser tube fitting is farther back on ea82 Y pipes....

the heat riser placement and the mount points will be the biggest things.

 

also, depending on what year ea81, theflanges that bolt to the heads may not be level, since some ea81 had the 1" steel piece in between for the ASV, some had 2. mine usually have none when I run 'em....

 

the EA82 exhaust I have seen was all level....
