While mine isn't a historical Subaru, I figured this would be the best place to ask this question. I was trying to replicate the 'SUBARU' and '4 wheel drive' graphic seen on GL's and Brat's during the late 1970's and 1980's.

 

Getting the SUBARU part is easy. McBrat is the man there. But I wanted to get some folks opinion about the script part of the graphic. I can't get the exact font, but I've found something in the same vein. What do you folks thing?

 

Imagine the white being where the body shows through. The decal will be black.

 

This is the car it will be going on:

 

 

Known locally as 'The Short Bus', because of the color. The grid is on there for my reference in Photoshop - it's a 1"x1" grid.

I'd like to thank McBrat - while he wasn't able to do the graphics, he was able to put me in contact with someone who could.
