upgraded replacement headlamp assembly for an RX?

Featured Replies

i really want to improve my vision at night and so want to invest in some hella 550 ambers for the lower portion, but when taking a lok at my stock driving lights, i really want to replace them with a more clear reflective solution such as sylvania's or sumthin (not the silverstars but the highest yellow halogens) but I wasnt sure if there were any 3rd party headlamps? Ive only seen the 9004bulbs but i want the whole deal. can anyone fill me in? or do I have to rely on oem replacement?

PIAA makes bulbs. Far brighter than SilverStars. A bit pricey though. Options Auto Salon is the cheapest I have found them. (Link to 9004)

I am using the "PIAA 9004 BULB: XTREME WHITE PLUS 65/45W=120/95W"

I highly recommend.

i would recomend some some better 9004 bulbs (not blue ones) and alos add a relay for the headlights..

other than that the only other source would be to get some EDM headlights, they have a better glass/reflector pattern and use h4 bulbs..however i still havent been able to track down a set for my own:banghead:

EDM headlights

From the pics I've seen, the NZ cars seem to use all the EDM equipment... might want to ask one of the Kiwi members for some close up headlight pics and specs...
