What do you call those car shows where they make crazy sculptures out of their cars?

Featured Replies

I can't remember who was telling me about this at WCSS7, but they mentioned some of the things people would do the make their cars look interesting for example, putting carburators on the hood or all kinds of crazy hoses and a fake jet turbine on the back of a volkswagen bug ... is there a site with these kinda cars with pics anyone knows of? I'm looking for some ideas :brow:

they are called art cars, plug it into google and it will pull up some good examples

thanks for the link! I had been searchinf under auto art and such and finding nothing .... now I just need to find KEWL looking art cars for ideas ;)

OMG!!! That thing is sick. Who ever would make a 4X4 lifted Delorean really had a lot of spare time on their hands.

i live in minneapolis, and there is a large artistic population here, so theres alot of subarus, and alot of art cars. theres one that has scales like a lizard. one covered in cds, another that is astroturphed, with a golf hole on top. all kinds of crazyness.

This one's in burien I talked to the owner for a minute.
